Summer School on Long-term Autonomy for Mobile Robots – Call for Participation

Members of L-CAS, in collaboration with the STRANDS consortium, are organising a summer school on “Long-term Autonomy for Mobile Robots” (LAMoR) at the University of Lincoln, from 27/8/15 to 31/8/15. The LAMoR summer school is aimed at PhD students and PostDocs in robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering and machine learning, primarily. The event is co-locates with the “European Conference on Mobile Robots” (ECMR).

The topics covered at this summer school are inspired by the objectives of STRANDS and encompass research on

  • Long-term mapping
  • Robust navigation
  • Person Perception and Activity Understanding
  • Computer Vision for Robots
  • Long-term Autonomy

The LAMoR summer school is funded by the European FP7 programme via the STRANDS project and free to attend including free accommodation for accepted participants.
