Fusion has the potential to provide a clean and sustainable source of energy, but making it work on a practical scale comes with some major engineering challenges, particularly when it comes to operating and maintaining equipment inside such an extreme environment.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\" \/>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ad2f72ca wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-group-is-layout-constrained\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\">Why do we need Robotics?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-nowrap is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-ad2f72ca wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">There are many reasons why we need remote handling in a fusion reactor. The reactor must be kept clean of all contaminants, the reaction happens in vacuum, at high temperature, and with large magnetic fields, and inputs and outputs to the reaction are harmful to humans. However,  these reasons also pose challenges to the robotics.
