The project defines Robot Operating System(ROS) based simulation modelling of a space walking robot.
Objectives:
- Create a ROS based design and model of walking space robot from existing mechanical model.
- Motion planning for end-to-end walking.
- Using the simulation model for controlling a prototype real robot ( If time permits ).
Outcomes:
- Understanding ROS and modelling of a robot from its mechanical design.
- Understanding of Robot Kinematics and motion planning.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of basic Python/c++ programming.
- Good mathematics understanding.
