Members of L-CAS, in collaboration with the STRANDS consortium, are organising a summer school on “Long-term Autonomy for Mobile Robots” (LAMoR) at the University of Lincoln, from 27/8/15 to 31/8/15. The LAMoR summer school is aimed at PhD students and PostDocs in robotics, artificial intelligence, engineering and machine learning, primarily. The event is co-locates with the “European Conference on Mobile Robots” (ECMR).
The topics covered at this summer school are inspired by the objectives of STRANDS and encompass research on
- Long-term mapping
- Robust navigation
- Person Perception and Activity Understanding
- Computer Vision for Robots
- Long-term Autonomy
The LAMoR summer school is funded by the European FP7 programme via the STRANDS project and free to attend including free accommodation for accepted participants.
The call for participation is open at the Summer School’s website where also further details can be found.
